What is a project?
Project is a research based, controlled & guided (by the teacher or coach), extended, learning environment for the students in which they create, do and learn on an issue selected. It must not deviate from the content/s of any discipline taught. This is to inculcate in students critical thinking, leadership qualities, collaboration, peer learning and supporting, communication and extend their learning horizon-components of 21st century learning skills. What is a cross-curricular project?
An inter-disciplinary project involves the guided (by the teacher) activities of various subjects with its evaluation rubrics. Why has project been included in CCE?
It is to validate, consolidate and extend the learning horizon of the children. |
